Wave On You

“This stay was amazing! It was right next to a Subway station so traveling around was super convenient. There's a beach a couple stops away, the Busan X Sky 100 observatory and beach area further east, and to the west there was the port and some shopping areas. The accommodations are also pretty nice. I'm solo traveling but had an entire apartment size space to myself. There's also plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. And the host always responded within just a few minutes.” Disliked: The two main downsides to this place is the bathroom and the fact that it's four floors up and only accessible via stairs. The bathroom worked and did its job, but it felt a little awkward to use just because of its layout and appearance. The fact that the space is four floors up isn't a big deal if you are able bodied and able to lift your luggage fairly easily, but could be a problem for certain people.

“Nice apartment. Near to subway station, restaurants, good communication.” Disliked: Fourth floor and no elevator.

“This was a little apartment with everything you could need, so felt like a home away from home. We got the bus straight from Busan Station and only had to walk around the corner to get to the apartment. We caught a bus down to the river and cherry blossom street and then walked all the way home. We only had 2 days in Busan but they were enjoyable. It is near a university so there are many young people around, but it feels lively and there is lots of places to eat and have entertainment. The cinemas were nearby also.” Disliked: There is no elevator, but that's sort of to be expected in that area and no fault of the owners at all.

“Great location with lots to do and public transit! All the space and facilities we needed along with fun things like a nice TV and karaoke!” Disliked: Make sure that you are up for carrying all your things up and down four flights of stairs, as there is no elevator. This was not a problem for us but may be a consideration for other visitors.

“It was very close to the station and easy to find. The bedding and blankets were white and clean. A grocery store and good restaurants were nearby, so I could get necessities and foods right away.” Disliked: Nothing Special.

“Large living room, clean bedroom & bathroom, romantic lighting and atmosphere. Convenience store and station are really close.” Disliked: Difficult to carry luggage because it's on 4th floor but there's no elevator

“The apartment was cleaned to a good standard. We liked that the main common area (dining room, kitchen and TV room is in one big space) is spacious. There is an air conditioning unit in one of the bedrooms. There are plenty of hand size towels (we were just 2 persons). The beds (bedrooms 1 and 2) were comfortable. The apartment door is very secure. WIFI was fast and easy to connect to. The entrance way in the apartment is spacious, lots of slippers and good lighting.” Disliked: We were not aware of the fact that the apartment building had no lift and the apartment was on 3 floor (if you’re from the UK, and 4 floor for others), as we had 2 heavy suitcases and it was a struggle for us to take them up. There is a sign inside the apartment (bathroom) not to open the window due to ‘insect infestation’, so we did not open the window, yet we saw a cockroach in one of the bedrooms. There are lots of ‘do not enter signs’ with information beneath them around the apartment on doors, cupboards and walls, but most of them are in Korean, so we didn’t realise that the dryer and washing machine are available for us to use due to these signs. Also, guests are not allowed to use the wardrobes in both bedrooms. So, the space to manoeuvre in each bedroom is very tight. There is mold in the bathroom, and when using the shower, the water cut out once. However, you can control the temperature and the water pressure, so that was good. The washing machine is great if you are a big group with lots of laundry, but unfortunately for us we couldn’t use it as it was an industrial size washing machine. We were able to use the dryer which worked very well. Also, although this is not under the control of the host, I found that the entrance to the apartment building is very shabby, dirty and lots of mosquitoes flying around the entrance and stairwell. And the area around the apartment is noisy, and some of noise can be heard in the bedrooms. However, the host kindly left some sleeping plugs.

“the flat was nice and clean but very minimalistic. the location was very good, it was very close to the subway and bus stops so it was very easy to go around form the apartment.” Disliked: there is no elevator and I didn't know it in advance. at the entrance to the stars was a speaker, very load, that actually you can't hear inside but still not so nice. the water heater works together with the floor hitting that was not easy to operate.
